The workshop panel
On January17th-18th 2013 at the Pedagogical University in Warsaw in reference to the transnational project "PI-PWP Threats of cyberspace - new qualifications of a social worker" was held an operating panel. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Pedagogical University in Warsaw, the Latvian partner Rezekne Higher Education Institution and many guests professionally dealing with issues related to social policy, digital media and information and communication technologies such as personnel of the social welfare centers, NASK (Research and Academic Computer Network), MCPS (Mazovian Center of Social Policy), Fundacja Dzieci Niczyje (Nobody's Children Foundation) and the Office of District Ochota in Warsaw.
It was a very important meeting for the realization of the project, in which there were many interesting discussions. Participants exchanged views on the product and the project, mainly in the implementation and testing of the program. During the working panel there had been collected comments about the product, which is a comprehensive program for the development of social workers of the dangers of cyberspace such as: its shape and content. Also developed a report on transnational cooperation on the basis of the comments.
Experts from the Leader and Partner, and representatives of users and recipients raised a lot of recommendations for the product and the project to develop the best possible solutions. In many speeches there was emphasized the importance of the problem of cyber threats in social policy and deficits in the current system of education in this area.
